“I need accountability, someone to hold my feet to the fire, so to speak. Sue does this in a way that is supportive, I appreciate that she doesn’t dictate or tell me what to do, but listens and questions and helps me figure out solutions that are right for me and the success of my business.”

"Coaching with Sue has helped me immensely with achieving my goals: by pinpointing and realistically setting them and then staying on track to achieve them…My sales have greatly increased."

Joseph Wong

“Coaching is a very confidential way of talking about a lot of your issues. Sue is willing to listen with a critical ear and challenge you. She is insightful and not afraid to say the obvious – what you say to yourself she says out loud.”

Audrey Ciccone

"The value I derive from Sue’s coaching is beyond measures. She possesses an immense ability to listen and guides me gently through self-discovery to realize and reach my capacities. Sue coaches me to be creative in dealing with challenges and moves me through the process to overcome obstacles and achieve my goals."

" Working career mothers would definitely benefit from coaching, before and right after returning to work or even once a month. As a working mother Sue has taught me how make myself a priority and focus on issues that I didn't think were important or relevant, but how these little things affect the overall process"

Coaching

Let's face it. Being in business isn't easy. It takes guts, determination, stamina, and business smarts. Even more important, in today's increasingly competitive marketplace it takes a willingness to embrace change, to look at every part of your business and yourself from innovative perspectives.

Scary? You bet!  And if you're like most people, you know you want things to be different but you’re not sure how to make them happen. That's where I can help. Coaching leads you down exciting new pathways and on to greater fulfillment in your business and your life. If you're ready to learn more, here are some of the most common questions people have about this method of turbo charging their route to success.

  1. What is coaching?
  2. Who hires a coach?
  3. I'm already successful in my career and my business is doing well.
Why do I need a coach?
  4. How can you coach me if you've never worked in my type of business?
  5. What's my minimum commitment?
  6. Why is coaching done by phone?
  7. What will we focus on in each session?
  8. What changes can I expect to see in myself?
  9. Okay, I'm ready. Now what?
  10. Sue, how would you describe your ideal customer?
  11. What are your coaching credentials?

1. What is coaching?

Coaching is rapidly becoming one of the leading tools successful people use to create extraordinary results in their lives, careers, and businesses. Coaching not only creates clarity to move you forward into action, it actually accelerates your progress by providing greater focus and awareness.

Through ongoing coaching sessions, you’ll identify what is most important to you and determine how to get to where you want to go. As your coach I’ll hold you accountable and make sure you live up to your highest potential.

2. Who hires a coach?

Entrepreneurs, lawyers, accountants, restaurant owners, landscape architects, sales representative, the list is almost endless: actually, it’s anyone who wants greater success in their life… no matter how they define that success.

3. I'm already successful in my career and my business is doing well.
Why do I need a coach?

Because no matter how successful you are, you can always do better. Olympic gold medallists are considered the best, the fastest, the strongest in the world, yet they would never consider training without a coach. When Henry Ford first produced his Model T, it was considered an almost unbelievably fast method of travel… now we have aircraft that travel faster than the speed of sound. Think what would have happened without the desire to do better… we'd still be driving at 20 m.p.h.

4. How can you coach me if you've never worked in my type
of business?

Because you bring the content, but I bring the focus and process. In fact, even though I’ve been a successful entrepreneur for many years, coaching often works best when I don't know about the type of business you're in because I bring a fresh perspective. Remember, I'm not going to coach a doctor how to be a better surgeon… I'm going to coach them so they become better at running their business. The richest coaching is when you gain a deeper awareness of self and how you function within your business.

5. What's my minimum commitment?

It really depends primarily on what you want to accomplish, although I do ask for a minimum commitment of three to six months. Once they discover how successful the coaching relationship can be and how exhilarating positive progress becomes, many of my clients stay for a year or even longer.

6. Why is coaching done by phone?

It's easy, affordable, and extremely convenient. You don't have to live in the same city to have me for your coach… I've coached people who live in a different country just as effectively as ones who live down the street. As long as you have a phone, you never have to miss a coaching session or waste time stuck in traffic trying to get from your office to mine.

7. What will we focus on in each session?

Coaching is a collaborative process. In addition to using exercises, assessments, and other tools, I'll ask a lot of questions, listen deeply to what you’re saying (or not saying). Together we will co-create a focus that’s custom designed to help you build a better personal and business foundation that moves you towards achieving your goals.

8. What changes can I expect to see in myself?

A greater sense of well being is usually the first thing people experience. You develop an inner calm and are more able to balance the different components of your life no matter how chaotic it has become. Because you learn to stop putting up with the things that hold you back, you'll have more time to work on the important parts of life and business. You'll get more done, earn more, and feel a renewed sense of passion, energy and control in everything you do.

9. Okay, I'm ready. Now what?

First we'll set up a consistent time that works with your schedule. At the designated time, you call my 1-800 phone number. During each session we'll strategize, formulate new goals based on the success of earlier ones, and map out activities for the coming week ... activities that will keep you consistently moving forward. To accelerate the process, prior to each coaching session you'll fill out a short prep form. This acts like a snapshot of where you are at the specific moment, ensuring we leverage our time together to very best advantage.

10. Sue, how would you describe your ideal client?

It's not what they do or where they come from but who they are as people. My ideal client is ready for something better. They want business and personal success, they are results oriented and willing to stretch themselves. They are internally motivated, committed, and ready to do the work necessary to reach their dreams. Typically, they see coaching as a way to enhance their strengths and accept that they must stay open to new possibilities, to become willing to look at life from new, unexpected angles.

As a coach, I don’t fix people who are broken. As a client, you must first recognize that you are ultimately the only person responsible for making a difference in your life. However, by partnering with a coach, you’ll discover you can move past self-limitations and achieve bigger goals than you ever thought possible.

11. What are you coaching credentials?

I’m a graduate of Coach U, one of the largest coach training schools in North America. I also continually upgrade my skills through advanced courses from Coachville’s Graduate School of Coaching. I’m a member of the IAC (International Association of Coaches) and abide by their guiding principles and standards of ethical conduct.
